My name is Siggy Schroeder. I have been suffering from a serious craft addiction for about ten years now. It all started with crocheting and painting Easter eggs (a great German tradition).

About five years ago, when I was already an avid card maker, a friend showed me her scrapbook. I became totally hooked and have never looked back. To date I've been involved in the publication of three scrapbooking books, one of which is on the shelf, and the other two are pending.

Whilst scrapbooking is my first love, I found that it inspired my card making rather than squash it, which is great as cards are much easier to giveaway than a scrapbook layout. Apart from the the pleasure of covering myself and my kitchen in glitter, I've met a lot of very nice people through my crafting and it's great to share tips and inspire others. These inspirations came back to haunt me, in a very nice way though; as for my 40th birthday, lots of my friends made cards and presents for me.

There's one more thing that I'd like to acheive, and that's to set up a crafters anonymous as we all need serious help.
